How my interest in photography began

Photography gradually became a big interest in my life, i guess it all started at when i was 15 years old. I decided to start learning the basics when i did some work experience for a company know as Photolink. Fortunately, as well as being the gofer I was allowed to experiment with my own mini photo shoot of a bowl of fruit. Simply i know but you have to start somewhere, so I began to alter the exposure time, light and various other components and i thoroughly enjoyed comparing the differences. However, i was not going to stop until I took the winning photo which i eventually did, not bad according to them.
when I visited Photolink on my first day i was able to capture an idea of someone the work they do, below is an image of the project which was in development and the imagery i saw was inspirational. the use of colour was harmonious and warming and the images were so delicate and detailed it was the type of imagery that captures your whole attention.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to study this at AS and A level and i took photography as my 4th A level. My 1st project was probably my favourite and had the title of a sense of place. I woke up one morning at 5am and began my quest. luckily enough for me the sun was rising and there had been a dew that night which began my key element throughout my project.

This was my award winning piece - Glistening tree
My other final images for the project are under the post sense of place
