Final Piece
My project was about Necrophobia which is the fear of being forgotten, being alone and continually contemplating how, why and when you will will die.
I decided to focus on the idea of being forgotten, being alone and death. The death aspect inspired me to concentrate two segments the first on bones with some flesh remaining upon them and the second on funerals.
The forgotten side is portrayed in the words, at each funeral there is an order of service which usually begins with " In loving memory of John smith" for example. Therefore to exaggerate the idea of being forgot I only used the words "In loving memory of". In the image i also left out a grave stone to boost the idea that this person had no impact on anybody and was never cared about, this person was person has been forgotten.
